A zine, or fanzine, is a fan-made magazine made around certain well-loved media and themes. It contains a collection of original works made by passionate artists, writers, cosplayers and more! The purpose of Ad Meliora is to celebrate the well-loved prospector, Norton Campbell, from the mobile game IdentityV.Is this zine non-profit?
The project will be monetized but all proceeds will be donated!What is the charity the zine will donate to?
After reviewing all suggestions, we have decided to donate the zine’s proceeds to The Trevor Project for young LGBTQ lives! This charity is close to all of our mods and it’s one of the most frequently suggested charities from our interest check.Will the zine have merchandise? To which countries will the merchandise be shipped?
There will mainly be digital merchandise in our bundle! There are no plans to produce and sell physical merchandise as of now, so the buyer's country does not matter.What kind of content will there be for the zine?
There will be art, fan fiction, digital merchandise and cosplay photography!Will the zine include nsfw content?
Nsfw content will not be allowed. Suggestive content may be considered but will be subjected to the mods’ judgment. Other than that, the zine will mostly be of sfw content!Is the theme of the zine limited to the canon universe?
Nope! Creators can pitch a concept ranging from canon au, essence au, original au, in-game events, offline events etc. as long as the piece contains Norton!Are personal headcanons of Norton allowed in the zine?
Yes! Feel free to showcase any personal headcanons you have of Norton Campbell, including any depiction of his race, gender, sexuality etc as long as it doesn’t stray too far from his canon personality! Everyone is allowed their own interpretation of him~Does the creator's portfolio have to include Norton?
At least one work in your portfolio has to be about IdentityV (not necessarily Norton), however, once you are accepted into the zine, your work must contain Norton Campbell as the main subject!If this is a Norton zine, are other characters allowed to be shown?
Other characters may be in the piece as supporting characters as long as the main character is still Norton! There will be character distributions so that every non-Norton character can appear evenly!Can the contributors join with more than one type of submission, e.g. art and writing?
Anyone can apply in several categories. However, we will only be choosing them for one. We do not expect having double roles, but if the situation calls for it, we can open this topic for discussion again.Are there any proshippers in the zine?
No, there are not. None of the head mods are proshippers and we are strongly against fictional depiction of any problematic theme. We have also stated that in our guidelines and extend this expectation to all members who will join us. Please read all the guidelines in our Carrd carefully before applying!
